The Mission

To create a movement designed to help those we serve build generational wealth through financial education.

We have a 5 step process designed to make generational wealth a reality!

Financial Literacy

The FIRST step is to educate yourself on personal finance topics. Understanding the value of this knowledge is a game changer!

Money Management

The SECOND step is to learn effective money management skills such as budgeting, saving, accounts, and income.

Debt Management

The THIRD step is to deal with debt! Learning how to reduce, eliminate, or avoid debt can have a significant impact on your financial journey.

Credit Management

The FOURTH step is to understand credit, how credit scores are impacted, how to build credit, and how to use credit appropriately.

Building Wealth

The FIFTH step is building a nest egg by planning for your financial future and make those golden years more manageable.

our vision

To accelerate financial literacy in underserved and underrepresented communities for the purposes of building confidence in financial decisions, while also creating a space for continued learning and growth as those we serve navigate their financial journey.

What makes us unique?

Wild About Wealth was formed to address an epidemic in our society. We want to address this critical deficiency by providing training, information, tools, and resources to help improve financial literacy specifically in underserved and underrepresented communities. We believe everyone deserves a chance to live free from the stress of misunderstanding their personal finances.

Personal finance is a topic that is often overlooked, ignored, and/or feared simply because people just don't have access to the knowledge. The reality is, this knowledge is crucial to the successful outcome of our financial progress as a society.

Throughout this site, you’ll find information on personal finance topics we believe will best support the needs of our audience. Most of those we serve are in different stages of their financial journey. Not every topic will appeal the same to every person. However, what we can guarantee is there's a place for everyone to gain knowledge for themselves or someone close to them.

And, it doesn't have to be boring! We want our readers to see how changing habits, making intentional choices, and setting goals can lead to financial freedom and get excited about it! We're here to turn that excitement into a movement that gets more and more people WILD ABOUT WEALTH!

Personal Story:

I’ve always been very passionate about personal finance. I’m driven by the desire to help those in communities, like the one I grew up in, achieve their financial goals and create generational wealth.

As someone who saw my single mother overcome financial hurdles many times over, I recognize that those hurdles may not have created such a burden if financial education was available to my mother.

Early on, my goal was to break the cycle and start a new one; one that promotes financial well-being and the desire to build generational wealth.

Financial Literacy Advocate:

In my quest to meet my own financial goals, I realized there are so many people with the same goals and in need of the same answers.

Personal finance is a topic that has always come very naturally to me, and I enjoy reading and talking about the subject at length.

Over the years, I’ve volunteered as a financial coach, helping those in low-income communities. I have also helped many of my friends and family find tips and tricks to help them navigate their financial journeys more smoothly.

With the desire to reach more people and to promote the importance of financial literacy, I decided to create Wild About Wealth.

I want teens and young adults to have a space to seek information on personal finance that won’t overwhelm them. I want to assure middle-aged and retired adults that it’s never too late to improve their financial education.

And most of all, I want to help generate enthusiasm for building wealth and understanding the impact it will have on generations to come.

Professional Credentials:

So…financial education is a serious topic, right? Absolutely it is! As you navigate your financial journey you should feel confident you are receiving accurate and up-to-date information from trained professionals.

In addition to being a Certified Financial Education Instructor, I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and an MBA in Finance also from Keller Graduate School of Management.
